Restaurant bewertenWe reserve at 9 We get the menu at 9.30 and the desert at 10.30 with the restaurant almost empty! Not very expensive, food eatable but the service is very poor!
Breakfast here with the family. perfect location with views of the sea and the beach. very busy, but well managed by the employees.
I had read some mixed reviews on this resort before booking, but the views looked exceptional and as it was low season I thought perhaps we would give it the benefit of the doubt. Thankfully we had the beach and the view because that was...the only great thing about it. We arrived on a Wed night staying through Friday. I called on Monday morning to try and book some spa treatments and was told that there were no treatments available and they were fully booked. The restaurant was also fully booked. We tried on 3 separate occasions to use the bar and the service was the most atrocious I've ever had. There would be at least 3 people working in the small bar and on all occasions we sat at a table or were pointed to a table where we sat and waited forever for someone to come and take an order. Even after signaling the waiter several times, no one came to our table. One time we finally got to place an order and a check was left on the table immediately and we never had anyone come back again after the food was delivered. The other two times we got up and left the bar after waiting for over 30 minutes just to place a drink order (this was with several empty tables in the bar so it wasn't even that busy). They just don't seem to really care AT ALL about providing any kind of service. The breakfast was also horrible. Both days the hot food was down to bits and no one was making an effort to refill them. The hot water for tea was out and I asked a girl for some hot water and she said it was coming. I stood waiting for 10 minutes for abandoning any idea of a hot drink. It just seemed like complete chaos and people frantically fighting for food instead of a lovely relaxing breakfast. It was a real shame because you have a great view and then the rest is just so bad. The room was clean, but as we were on the second floor just down from reception, it was impossible to sleep with the noise and children running up and down the hallways screaming. Babies screaming at 5 AM sounded like they were in my room next to me. I don't have any issue with kids and this hotel had a lot of families, but the walls and floors are all paper thin and you'll hear everything as if it was in your own room. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and the room temperature was unbearably hot. There was no other option but to sleep with the window open and hear people in the parking lot as well. After arriving late the first night I put a sign on my door to skip the cleaning the next day as I wasn't in the room for long, but even with the sign I received two calls from housekeeping (waking me up) asking me if I was sure I didn't want my room cleaned. After explaining to the first person I got another call 20 minutes later asking if I was really sure. Unfortunately I pre-paid on hotels.com or I would have just left and found another place to stay. I really don't recommend this hotel for anyone wanting a quiet, relaxing stay.
The room was adequate. However the position on the beach of this hotel totally makes up for the room. Our view from our beach view room was breathtaking, the sand stretching a long way out My husband and myself ventured to the bar to photograph...the sunset and I attach some of my photos. I would definitely return of the weather was clement. We had stayed some years ago when it was stormy and not a good time for a walk on the beach.
