We first visited this restaurant in 2011, and loved it. We went back a second time and found it to be closed. We returned in 2012 and found them closed for their annual holiday. Since then, we have started to contact them in advance and arrange our holiday so as to be sure they are open. Frequented by lots of locals, and often very busy, we think this is the best restaurant near the south of the lake. A wonderful place for a very long lunch – especially weekdays when they have a set menu that is very good value. There is always a genuine welcome, the food is wonderful, and the atmosphere is authentic. Booking is advisable if you want a table outside. English spoken. Closed most of August and every Sunday.
