Not our first time here and we always enjoy it. However, this experience was a little disappointing. We made reservations a week and a half in advance for NYE due to the high level of advertising for the evening. My fiancé was excited for the tomahawk steak which we called in advance same day to confirm they had. Drinks took quite a while to come, they were out of a lot of food, including the steak, the food they did have came out cold and then at 9:30 we felt rushed out when we were told it was last call and the lights were cut on. Strange for a place advertising so extremely for New Year’s Eve. Still love Uncle Jack’s but bummed after this go round.

I have always enjoyed eating and the service with taking out the last night. eating was very slow to get out. it was not as crowded as usual. Eating was cold and not good. the waitress was very spacious. sad, because it was the 83 birthday of my mother. Last year it was great, but this time was a big disappointment. they even sat outside at first and it was mostly cold for an older woman. it'll take a while before I go back.
After switching from tables 3 times because they are in terrible places (to a wall, in the back look on the garbage and the kitchen we finally decided to wait and sat on the closed terrace. not super comfortable at a cold night, very noisy and not the ambiente they sit around their bar area (the best place to sit. I ordered the burger called "the smoker," which I had ordered last summer at my previous visit. this time the burger was terrible. over boiled. the shredded pork on the top was hard and stringy and there should have pimiento cheese on it, but there was very little. it was just not good. then my man and I both ordered the Brussel spears for our side parts, and the waitress had to tell us that they ran out of them and had only for one job enough. the one order of those we have was half full. they have no other sweet on their menu. all junk (fries, mac n cheese, etc). really over expensive mediocre food. I don't know if the kitchen staff has changed or not, but it's not the same as last year. unfortunately we probably don't go back.
