Restaurant bewertenWhen we arrived there was no queue. Plenty of different stations in the buffet including soft drinks, bar, salads, pasta, seafood, omelette, American breakfast, Desserts with Danish pastries, Cereals with yoghurts and fresh fruit. Omelette section isvery busy and for good reason, we tried bacon, cheese and tomato omelette delicious worth the wait. Wheelchair accessibleramps. Staff helpful and pleasant. Overall satisfied our appetites but consider this an average buffet compared to others inVegas we have tried: despite there being oysters on the half shell. This buffet is suitable for for everyone including children.Soft music playing in the background in this classically styled restaurant.
Huge disappointment! There was only a small selection to choose from and the food was mediocre at best. The pancakes looked and tasted like they were store bought. On the plus side, the fruit was excellent and the service was amazing. I went with a groupof 6 and everyone was disappointed. There was great seating and it is handicap accessible. Kid friendly. I would not recommendespecially considering the price.
Considering the negative reviews and off-strip location, I was very pleasantly surprised by the MGM Grand. Unlike other hotels in the area that have resorted to automated check-in and off-shore customer service, MGM has stuck to face-to-face interaction. I stayed in one of the newly-renovated studio king rooms, and though it was a bit tight, it was perfect for a one-night stay. The bed was very comfortable, and everything in the room was spotless. That being said, most of the elevators were out of service, and the entrances into this tower were a bit awkward. While the hotel is a bit far south for my liking, it is super easy to access the rest of the strip, and it has its own monorail stop, which is a huge convenience. Just note that some of the rooms are VERY dated, and some of the hotel could use a bit TLC if they keep charging the rates they're charging.

Another fantastic stay here at MGM. However, initially our room had a glitch as there was no holder in the bathroom for the tissue. Literally, nothing on the wall lol. A quick call to the front desk secured us another room on the same floor. The room is large and with a view of the Sphere. Beds and room are clean and the bathroom is spacious. The only wish I had is that the shower head be removable. The soaps, shampoo and conditioner have strong scents for my personal taste. I usually bring my own items. Checking in was a bit long due to the number of guests. After requesting Dian at the front desk, I was instructed that she could be found in the Gold Reserve room at the MGM Grand. Unfortunately, Dian was on break, however, the personnel allowed me to check in at the Gold Reserve Room. This was a professional courtesy extended, as I did not look forward to standing back in the long check in line. Later that evening, I did see Dian and she was friendly, courteous and professional as the last time. She was not surprisingly promoted to the Gold Reserve Room. I suspect greater things for Dian in her near future. There was a fight scheduled at the MGM Grand and the lobby was ready for the promotion. Everything was nicely organized for the event. Our stay was comped, however, you are still responsible for the resort fees and any incidentals. Parking fee charges depends on your MGM Rewards status. Please note, there was a substantial credit hold on your credit card until you check out. This was a first for me. Maybe because we checked into our room at the Gold Reserve Room? Overall our stay here rated a 4.5 out of 5 stars.
