Cafe Riva - Larne

I recently dined at this restaurant for dinner and had a fantastic experience. The price per person was between £10-20, which I found to be great value for the quality of food served. I would rate the food and service a 5 out of 5, as both were excellent. The atmosphere was also enjoyable, although I would give it a 4 out of 5. I highly recommend trying the risotto, as it was one of the standout dishes of the evening.

I used to dine at this restaurant regularly, but stopped going a few months ago due to the decline in food quality. The staff are friendly and helpful, but it doesn't make up for the subpar food. The dishes are freshly cooked, but that leads to long wait times. The last time I visited, I ordered pasta carbonara with chicken, which was heavy and greasy due to excessive cheese. The pizzas are dry and overly salty. Despite being an Italian restaurant, there is minimal Italian decor and only a few Italian dishes on the menu. The restaurant lacks atmosphere with its plain layout of tables along the walls. The starters are small portioned, with only four garlic mushrooms served. Overall, I won't be returning to this restaurant.

The staff at this restaurant are extremely welcoming, the food is amazing, and the location is perfect. The orange latte that I had was exceptional. I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all a 5 out of 5.
