Bolillos Cafe North - Laredo

It was my first time in Bolillos with friends, and I was surprised by the variety of food selection. I chose the Bolillos with egg and beans! Wow! Super delicious and very authentic taste! I know I'll be back soon!

This place never disappoints. My aunt told me about this place and I was there five times and every time, food, service, people, all about Bolillos is perfect. I highly recommend it.

Google recommended this facility as a bakery more than a café, but on research I discovered that it is also a diner with a focus on breakfast. When entering we were greeted enthusiastically by the staff and then we were sat by an excellent server that answered our questions. The facility was clean and well lit. We ordered, received what we wanted, and our coffee was immediately refilled. The food was excellent, that was not heavy or fat. Portions were excellent vs. price. But... I couldn't evaluate these 5 stars because the music was WAY too loud and the toilet facilities weren't standard with the rest of the facility. I also ordered a pumpkin empanada from the bakery, which was strongly moderate, with an unloved pumpkin paste surrounded by a tasteless bread.

First time eating at Bolillos North. I ordered the caldo de res and my friend ordered the Pozole verde. The caldo de rez was plentiful and tasty. It had fresh vegetables and lean meat- I think this is why I feel that it needed more beef taste because the meat was too lean. My friend said she liked that it had lots of shredded chicken. She said the green broth had great flavor. The only thing that she didn?t like was that it was warm. It could?ve been hotter. Ambience was nice& clean. The service was attentive and friendly.

Soooooo delicious!! Despite that the place was packed, their service was fast.
