Kogi-q - Lapu-Lapu City

I'll be honest I was initially put off with all of the mediocre reviews, but after visiting this restaurant tonight I was pleasantly surprised. Food, staff and atmosphere were all great. The only thing I would suggest would be that the staff explain how things work or the procedure because we had never visited a Korean BBQ restaurant before and would have liked a little guidance. I have never once cared to write a review for anything but this place is just flat out terrible enough I had to. you get no options, just some bacon, chicken wings that don’t cook through, and some shrimp. That’s it no joke. There’s sides and by that I mean soy sauce and some chili paste and watery coleslaw. The gravel from across the street has more flavor Food: 1

This is by far the worst samgyup place I have dined in to. We paid 450 pesos per person, only to get 3 types of kimchi and coleslaw as side dishes. Walang ibang side dish, tho marami yung nakalagay sa menu. Plus, the food is not even good. The staff are lousy too. Won't go back here kahit libre lol Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch

The meal was ok the only issue that me and my wife had is no spicy sauce like SRIRACHA or kimchi and it’s a Korean food restaurant, go figure

I don't know why this place has a 4.4 star rating. I came for Meat Q and the pork belly came with bacon and all types of meat were the worst. 450 pesos is not a cheap price, but there was nothing to eat. I visited because it looked clean and seemed like a good restaurant, but I left with a hungry stomach. Seriously avoid it. This place has nothing to do with Korean food. The color of the meat is white and not red, the side dishes are nothing to eat, the staff are busy for no reason, don't look at customers, there is no soju, etc. This is a restaurant that leaves nothing to be desired.
