Light lunch. Royal Hawaiian pizza (a bit too much component) Parmesan shrimp Alfredo (with a lot of shrimp), dessert: Tropic Thunder (shared). All of them tasty, slightly above the average, portion OK. Service a bit slower than needed, but friendly.
To day was the 4th time in two months myself and wife have gone to this Boston Pizza in Walnut Grove. I have never had major issues with Boston Pizzas before. But this was the last straw for us. In the past we have waited for over 20min to get served with multiple waiters and waitresses walking by us not giving us the time of day. Even more shocking even the manager passed us by multiple times as well. I find the staff to be very under trained and the restaurant never has enough staff on when its a busy night. Another time it took them 4 times to bring us our food not burnt or over done. They always appear to be out of there most popular beer which I have no idea how this happens. Maybe lack of ordering experience not sure. Today we went to try our luck at dinner and again we waited in the Bar area at a table for over 10-15 min before a off duty waitress came by and said she would try and find our waitress. The waitress came and again we were told they where out of a certain beer again. How does this happen 3 times out of 4 in a 2month period at this restaurant. We will not be going back here again. Do not to go to this Boston Pizza as its customer service is down right a joke. 2 out of 10 in my books.
I must say i am very disappointed at the customer service at your restaurant. I had a voucher bought from work for one large gourmet pizza and noticed it expired on the 30th of April which was about a week ago. I work at the Hotel nearby and never got to use the voucher till today which is attached in the picture. The manager didn't even bother to look at it at all. She just went on another staff members description and never took the time to talk to the customer who realized this. This definately changes my opinion on every visiting again because of how this situation was handled. I truly think this could have been handled better.
The Calamari was soaked in Oil, barely warm like they dipped it in cold oil. The wings weren't tossed and sauced, litterly someone spilled hot sauce on them like Ketchup. The Hamburger bun was burned like it survived a house fire and still presented like it was picture perfect. The gravy was microwave warm. I did get a $4.62 discount off my bill by sharing my displeasure with the manager. There's lots of better choices close by like Montana's and S+L.
