Middle Fork - Lander

Had a simply superb breakfast here. Wish I took photos because it was beautifully presented. I had a half order of Eggs Benedict and a half order of the Banana Bread French Toast. They were both delicious! Quality ingredients, expertly prepared. Very nice decor, excellent service.

This review is long overdue! I was really blown away from the people who work in this restaurant; they went beyond and beyond for my husband and me. I carried out a travel care order in Lander, Wyoming and we visited this restaurant frequently during the six-week period. The food was always great! We loved everything we ordered, which is why we returned. We were particularly popular with their Hungarian mushroom soup that they made a week. We went back three days in a row to get this soup, but on the day three they ran out! In the following days, we probably asked about 15 times if they had served this soup, or if they would do it in the near future. We called so much that everyone knew us with names. Last time we called, we told them we were going soon and actually offered them to do something more for us! We were so happy! These kinds of people also made us not only a bowl, they made us a whole GALLON to take home and they also gave us the recipe with a kind of note! Thank you, friends of the middle fork, you are really one of a kind. Our world needs more people like you!

Amazing breakfast! We were here to visit from NH and get used to some pretty great diners. That was by far the best breakfast we had in a long time. We recommend the banana bread of French toast, the Huevos Ranchero!! Biscuits and Gravy were FANTASTIC! The staff was friendly and the place was very clean.

Very pleasant place for breakfast or lunch. The selection of foods is diverse and appealing. They offer both indoor and outdoor dining options, but the outdoor is very popular in summer and you need to arrive early to get a place. I ordered the baked Chili-Huevos, a tasty combination of chorizo, potatoes, chili and corn tortillas, prepared for your preference by eggs. If you spend a few days in or near Lander, I would put this place on your Must Dine Here. Apart from the fact that the service is somewhat slow due to the abundance of customers who want to feed there, I have nothing else but good things to say about the Middle Fork.

Wow! What can I say about this place?! I had only an incredible chorizo haash next to her Rooibos tea and ended with some bites of the caramel pecan cinnamon bun (is this legal?! Only the breakfast I needed after a cold night camp in the park here in Lander. Thank you to Jennifer for her stellar service and for patiently taking up my many enquiries as I get back into balance in the Middle Fork before I get back to the street. See you next time!
