Osteria Alla Romana - Lancaster

I had a wonderful experience with authentic Italian food! The Ravioli Special was excellent, and the tiramisu was delightful. We were in and out within an hour since the restaurant wasn't busy when we arrived. I started craving it again as soon as we left! I recommend going early. I will definitely be back!

We dined here for the first time tonight, and it quickly became a favorite. The food was incredibly delicious, and you can tell the owner is truly passionate about what he does. He goes out of his way to make guests feel at home, providing a personal touch during our visit. His attentiveness and dedication were evident in the outstanding quality of the dishes. Just a heads up, it’s a cash-only establishment, but there’s an ATM right outside. We will definitely be returning!

This restaurant is a hidden gem here in Lancaster! The food is almost unbelievably delicious—seriously, it's the most authentic Italian cuisine I’ve ever experienced. We've been here three times and tried many dishes, and we’ve never had a bad meal. The ravioli, fat succine, gnocchi, and caprese salad are all homemade and absolutely incredible! The owner is a true one-man band—he's the most dedicated and passionate entrepreneur I've ever met, with a real love for food and a desire to share it with others. Please don’t come here expecting Olive Garden-style dishes or prices. Each dish is made with immense care and the highest quality ingredients, which is reflected in the prices. Also, keep in mind that the restaurant only accepts cash, so be sure to plan accordingly. Dinner may take a bit longer to be served, but I assure you, it’s worth the wait!

I have never been in an authentic Italian restaurant before and this place has not disappointed at all, I asked the owner to choose them to try a random dish, and he made me ravioli and I had never ravioli so amazing before! at the end of our meal he brought out all desserts for us to try and the lemonade was definitiw my favorite. if I ever visit in hockey hills area again I will definitely visit again and I will recommend this place for any other who visits the opposite

I typically don’t like italian food but Osteria Alla Romana was by far the best authentic italian food i’ve ever had. I ordered the pappardelle with shrimp and mushrooms and i was questioning it a little while ordering but once i got it it was the best food ever everything was home made and fresh down to the mushrooms you can tell he made everything from scratch. the desert was delicious as well got one of each and none of them disappointed. the owner/cook was very friendly the whole time he really completed the homily feel of the restaurant. this is by far the best restaurant i’ve been to i highly recommend this to everyone.
