Restaurant bewertenThis food hall has a good amount of different cuisines and beverages to choose from inside. They have options of seating indoors and outside, which include comfy couches and fire pits! On Saturdays we noticed this place gets packed with large families, so if that’s not your cup of tea, try to visit during the week to avoid the noise and chaos. A few bonuses are the bartenders fun energy and the small quirky shop that has some very interesting items!
This is the most relaxing place to go to in town! It's such a beautiful atmosphere. They have inside seating as well as outside seating. There are so many different food options, and they even have a bar. My favorite place inside the Joinery has to be Sābu! Best ramen and steamed buns EVER.? You can take a stroll around Lake Mirror after you eat.
Wow!!! So much deliciousness to choose from! We had a little from every vendor! But I have to say, Blue Dog Craft Barbecue, was hands down, my favorite! The Brisket was THE. BEST. BRISKET. I have ever had...Anywhere! Super dog and family friendly!!!Lots of vegan, vegetarian, clean, dye-free, dairy-free, etc choices!!!
In the downtown area, in the Mirror Lake area which is turning out to be quite a destination for community and family: hit the park, walk around the lake, take in some good food, Lakeland has the start of something nice here. I also like that parking may not be ample, but it doesn't look like I'd be cut throat when jammed. That's a stress I don't care for anymore. As for the actual venue, for Tampa folks: think Armature Works: you show up, pick your restaurant, and grab a table. They have a good selection for different tastes, so everyone can be happy. The Downside is that experience could vary if you pick the wrong vendor. I went with the ramen place, Sabu for the ramen, and Mayday for ice cream. The ramen was actually damn good: marinated egg was great, pork belly was cooked perfectly, and wasn't dried out. Noodles were perfect, and the broth was easily top 3 for ramen. The bourbon pecan ice cream was also good from Mayday. It's definitely worth checking the place out.
The Joinery is a Lakeland must try!! The location is situated with beautiful lake views. The parking lot has enough overflow parking that will meet capacity for the location. The location has a dog friendly back patio with a green strip, front patio seating and plenty of indoor seating. Seating can accommodate small groups of 1-2 people or even larger groups with tables available that seat up to 10 and options in between. They had lots of high chairs available to accommodate children. Although there’s not “a lot for kids to do” it is kid friendly with the atmosphere and wide location. To note, We did come for a late lunch so I could see a late evening or event it may not be the most kid friendly as it’s very popular but don’t let that deter you because the food is AMAZING. We ordered the pork gyoza, Zukku Dumplings, edamame and Dynamite Poke bowl from ATO .. The Tonkotsu Ramen, honey chicken bun and strawberry fruity milk boba tea from Sabu .. two chicken sandwiches and orders of fries from the super duper spot .. and a variety of waffle cones from Mayday Ice-cream. All I can say is, WOW! Absolutely everything was fantastic. To start, the service at each location was impeccable. They were clear and concise in taking the orders and explaining next steps for when your order would be completed. The food at each location was made fresh, it came out steaming hot, it was flavorful, breaded or baked well. Everything was seasoned to perfection. Some items were a little pricey but you are paying for more than just the experience, the value is in the taste and quality of the food you are receiving. Let’s just say, we came with a large party and empty belly’s. Left with extremely happy tastebuds that have not been this happy in so long, along with some major food babies! We can’t wait to go back!!
