The Fogcutter - Lake Villa

Fogs is one of our favorite places! The food is excellent, and the owners and staff create a welcoming atmosphere that feels like home. It's a wonderful spot to enjoy a meal. We recently stopped in for lunch—my partner opted for a shrimp po' boy with extra shrimp, while I enjoyed a delicious burger. They also serve breakfast on Sunday mornings, featuring weekly specials that complement the regular menu. If you haven’t been there yet, I highly recommend giving it a try. You won’t be disappointed!

This is a fantastic hidden gem with spectacular service and delicious food. The garlic shrimp is amazing, and the prime rib is truly outstanding.

This hidden gem is a wonderful surprise for anyone willing to step inside. The food is incredible – I had a quesadilla and fried mushrooms that were enormous and absolutely delicious. I expected standard portions, but these were the size of my fist! The food and drinks are fantastic, but the true highlight is the staff. They go out of their way to make sure you're well taken care of, making every visit feel like coming home. With genuine people and authentic food, this is a place I'd happily return to any day of the week.
