Valé 243 Southern Italian Kitchen

My partner picked me up from work yesterday. We both were tired and had our 5 month old in tow. Everything in Asheville was annoyingly crowded and I just wanted to get home. Driving home, I remembered a few of my friends have recommended this restaurant so my partner called and they had a spot for us within minutes.It was such a warm experience. The inside is cozy, our server was so kind, she even made up a refreshing wine spritzer for me. Everyone was talking and interacting with one another, like family. Everyone was so sweet with my little one. The food was delicious. We started with garlic rolls and ordered lobster ravioli, spinach ravioli and brought home tiramisu. Everything was great! Someone even kindly paid for our meal! It was all very special .

This was the best italian food restaurant we have been to and we will make the 40 minute drive for italian food moving forward. The garlic rolls are the size of the palm of your hand and served on beautiful china and the pizza was hands down the best we have ever had. If you're visiting the Asheville area, it is worth making the drive out to try this place!

Overall, it was a great experience. Was pleasantly surprised by the authenticity of the restaurant and the quality of their food. Nice gem tucked away among the other shops. Will definitely visit them again.

Impressed with the atmosphere when I walked in, friendly greeting, great service and the pizza was awesome. Very impressed, don’t let the shopping center deter you.
