China One - Lake Charles

Undoubtedly one of the best takeout places in Lake Charles. I've been to many other takeout joints in the area, and this by far blows every single one of them out of the water. This place is very consistent, priced reasonably, and has forever earned my business. The lady at the front counter is always very polite, even if her english is slightly broken. They always get my order right every single time, and it never disappoints. You will not regret coming here. It is a true gem, and a staple of good and simple food. The portion sizing is also very adequate, and can supplement for 2 sittings of food if you have a mild appetite and aren't starving. My favorites are the beef and broccoli combo plate, crab rangoon, and general tso's chicken. Regardless of what you order, I guarantee it will be good. I've switched my choices here plenty of times, and never once did it change my opinion on this place.

I come here about every week, the food is fantastic and the owners are the sweetest. While I order the same thing every time and love it, everyone I bring here orders sometimes different and loves it too. Always hot and fresh when you get your order and doesn’t take long at all. 100% recommend as the best take out Chinese place in town. Super high quality

First time coming and will definitely be coming back! Restaurant is kinda small but they cook fast and the food is hot and fresh. Grab a take out menu and circle what you want to eat and they will prepare it perfectly. Qt or Pt is the serving size and baby if you order a Qt just know it's a good size. ? Pictures are chicken and broccoli and a Qt of general TSO chicken.

Went to China One because everything was a 2 hour wait at Golden Nugget! We were not dissapointed , everything was exremely good , especially their lo mein! Coming back soon !

Horrible service. I bought chicken and rice and half of the rice was gone and there was no chicken. Lady was so rude about it and made me pay even after I showed her proof saying I bought it.
