Restaurant bewertenI've been looking forward to trying this restaurant for a while, but sadly, it didn't live up to my expectations. The food was just average and a bit disappointing. However, I'm willing to give it another shot because I believe it’s not fair to judge something—or someone—based on just one experience. I'm hopeful that my expectations will be exceeded on my next visit.
The overall experience with the food was just mediocre. The calamari was a bit overcooked, although it had a decent flavor. Unfortunately, the lemon chicken was quite bland, although the portion was generous for the price. In general, the dishes lacked flavor but compensated somewhat with their size. While it was a bit overpriced for what you received, it wasn't the worst dining experience I've had.
We decided last minute to go to Hendrix, could not have asked for a better time from the food to the service. You really can not go wrong with ordering anything from this establishment. Misa and Lindsay were great bartenders and were always attentive with great recommendations. We started with the calamari and it was cooked perfectly. My fiancé got the off menu special, Atlantic Salmon risotto and it was delicious! I had the Burger and it came out exactly how I wanted it, I would highly recommend either of these dishes! We finished off with the Espresso Bread Pudding and this was the first time we have had this, it did not disappoint, I will be back just for this! The chef Luis came out personally to check if we enjoyed everything and if he could get us anything. I would recommend this restaurant to all my family and friends.
I am giving a 1 star not because of the food or service but purely on ethical behavior from the management/owner of this operation. I own a small screen printing and embroidery company locally and Patrick, manager, reached out for my company to provide their staff uniforms on 5/23/2024. When the job was finished on 6/6/2024 , Patrick referred to another person, Rob Entler to pay the invoice. He must be the financial firm that's funding the new ownership. Rob asked for the wiring info and Patrick has screen shot the payment. After few days later, payment hasn't gone through because it turns out Rob entered the routing info incorrectly. So I asked them to resend the payment. They have ghosted me an made no effort to pay as of today 7/6/2024. I have made many attempts via email and text for them to settle the invoice. I mean no harm to their staff and I'm sure they have no idea they are wearing stolen uniforms. Unfortunately, poor leadership has forced me to post here hoping to get their attention. Until then, I will continue to share my experience. I run a very ethical business and it's really sad to know that companies like this are stealing and bullying small businesses. Please don't support businesses like this.
I’ve been here 5-7 times over the past year and it’s totally gone to the dogs. I was there this week and the server said they had a recent change of ownership. I immediately noticed the menu was very stripped down to cheaper food items with the same price as high end items. Here are the simple points of my experience. The servers were overloaded. The food was very sub par. The manager came to check on us after more than an hour after we arrived we and only had one round of drinks. My daughter got her food and we sat and watched her eat while we got not attention from the staff. Ultimately we asked them to cancel our entrees which was simply two salads. The manager begged us to take the food to-go which we turned down 3 times while we asked for them to please take the check. Then he told us it was his first night. The to-go food arrived and we opened it. It looked literally thrown into the containers and the steak add-on was large hunks of steak that were grey (ordered medium rare) and burnt. Honestly the service was never great here and the food was never anything that exceeded my expectations. If I’m going to pay $100-$200 for a night out, it’s not here. I will NEVER come here again.
