Brussels Bistro - Laguna Beach

French and Belgium food. Very tasty mushroom soup puff pastry. My husband loved the lamb shank. Most other tables ordered mussels. Look delicious with baguette.

The service was good. However the flavor of the mussels were not to my liking. Ordered the mariniere sauce and the one with chorizo. The escargot was excellent as well as the freshly baked bread $5 for an extra order). Parking is hard to find on the street. We used a municipal parking lot a couple of blocks away the cost $8 for 1.5hrs.

Food here is always yummy and service is on point. Get their mushroom soup, the beers on tap (get the flight), and try other items in the menu. Outside seating available for fresh air or if you have a pet with you.

We love Brussels Bistro, and have come for quite a few special occasions. The escargot are marvelous, the Champagne paté as well. The fries are to die for. On our most recent visit I had the mushroom soup and my husband had the meatballs. All excellent. Sancerre wines were featured, also some of our favorites. Go!
