Mr. Popper's Sweet Shoppe - Ladysmith

If you have children or grandchildren, and for a VERY special treat you take them to this candy store, they will not be disappointed. It is small enough to be manageable, has wonderful ice cream and a wide assortment of dutch licorice for the grownups. Heck, be a kid for a day and visit this little shop in a heritage building - you don't find a store like this often. Treat yourself!

Me and my husband stop in every boutique candy store we every come across so i have seen a lot in my day. This was was okay but not great. it had some very traditional corner store candies and then a small collection of old school candies. But it was a little dingy and what not. Though we bought some ice cream since it was on special and it was very good! The lady there was also very pleasant!

A small candy shop but full of fun for the sweet tooth lover's soul. The fudge is made on site along with kettle corn that is yummy enough for the whole family (but you won't want to share). If you're expecting a "grade A, classy" environment it's not that kind of place. It's more of a quick pit stop to enjoy a sugar-pick-me-up.

This is a standard fast food restaurant with well-prepared burgers that are not overly salty like some other Wendy's locations. There isn't much else to comment on, as this is simply a place for quick burgers for people on the go.

I got food poisoning from their chicken sandwich a few years ago. I would recommend avoiding this place.
