We discovered this gem which is less than 10 minutes from where I live. The restaurant is takeout only, and you must place your order during the day so that you may come pick it up at in the evening (5pm). Please take note that the restaurant only operates from Thursday to Sunday, and it only accepts cash payments. The sushi is sold in sets that range from $29 to $50, enough for 2 people. This price is a premium to pay for the sushi's outstanding quality, however. The restaurant's chef spares no expenses for his quality ingredients. The set we ordered (Shefford) was exquisite, and my partner, who is Japanese, found that it tasted even better than the sushi served in Japan, especially the temaki (hand rolls). Also, soy sauce, ginger, wasabi, and chopsticks are included in each set. If you are willing to pay the extra dollar--and wanting to taste some of the best sushi of your life--give the Sushi Traiteur a call!
