Love the food at this place the servers and lady at the cashier are super nice

A great family oriented establishment with a gorgeous open air environment. Has had the same owner for over 20 years. Plenty of free parking. Excellent food at affordable prices. The menu is extensive but the mofongo picadera are the main hits.

The best Chofan I have ever eaten. And, the appetizer with the fried green plantains top with Baccala or Codfish is TO DIE FOR! Enjoy.

A shame, Everytime we visit La Vega we always stop by. Used to be tops for mofongo, but not anymore. Service is still top notch, and ambiance is perfect for a quick clean upscale getaway, but food is slipping.

This restaurant was just ok. The food wasn't very good nor was it traditional. I ordered Alfredo and it came with red peppers in it, someone else ordered crab mofongo and it didn't taste well at all. The service and atmosphere were good. Just need to improve the food.
