L'Embarcadere - La Truchère

We booked this floating restaurant at the side of the Saône river; La Seille and came in magical sunset light, we had tried to dinate there for the last two years, but it was always closed for low season. On a middle table on the houseboat we were very impressed by all the other diners packed too closely around us. The plastic tables and chairs were all mismatched and the chairs were much too high for the ladies, the chairs, the rims cut into their legs. It all started on the wrong foot by being served beautifully looking, but unfortunately stale bread, then our wine was served without drinking until I finally got up and politely asked the waitress for some wine glasses, my friends had a nice bottle of local red wine while I had a small carafe white wine, which though flat, was still deafable. My three friends all had a Salat de chèvre Chaud starter, the cheese was deep fried in filo pastry packages, I was horrified to see so much oil pouring out when my girlfriend was cut into her and was so relieved that the starter was sitting. The plates were deleted, but we were told we had to use our cutlery again. Then I was served my main course of a Quatre pizza, which I had to eat alone, as my friends had to wait much longer for their duck and perch fish fillets. When we were finally served, we were all underwhelmed, my pizza seemed a reheated frozen and shop bought without taste at all. One of my friends found their duck overhauled the other friend leaving half as it was fat. During one of my friends Ellbogen was eaten by an rude passing waitress who also knocked her napkin on the ground and didn't even turn around and apologized. This was caused by the fact that the tables were scratched too tightly. My girlfriend found her perch fish fillets dry, tasteless and overcooked and probably also from the same freezer shop as all Pomme Frites and my tasteless pizza. Then we asked for the bill to ask the rude waitress, why don't we have dessert and coffee? We didn't answer because we just wanted to get out as soon as possible and no longer have to suffer from their tasteless freezer food. The bill finally came and my girlfriend politely and very discreetly told the nicer waitress when asked if we had enjoyed our meal that we were all disappointed with the food, then another woman arrived and started a embarrassing passive aggressive gang about how good and fresh her whole food was while they admit that they were not a pizza restaurant, while they seemed to be all my friends expelled and all my friends She said they were all local diners and where were we anyway? We said we were locals too.

Arriving at 8:30 a.m. on a Saturday evening, the marina went to the restaurant to eat and refused the service, although there were many empty tables.

On an idyllic summer evening, we decided to test the restaurant EMBARCADERE in La Truchere, what a nice peaceful place, the sun went down, it was quite hot, the place was very clean and modern, (air conditioning) the staff very pleasant with us and welcome, the food we ordered was FILETS DE PERCHE and my husband ordered FROG LEGS, together Fönchen Fön

Located on La Truchere Mooring on the Seille River, near its confluence with the Saone. Welcome place for a good meal for river boat traffic. Good salads and fish dishes. Prompt Service. Beautiful airy and cheerful atmosphere.
