Restaurant Le Gulf Stream

Very good address to have lunch and dinner .... not expensive on the big Baye of Europe..... Nice place for romantic couples......Enjoy

As you stroll along the boulevard this restaurant is just there, by the wall on the sand looking at one of the best beaches in France. Choice of full sun; partial shade or the cool luxury of the elegant interior. A la carte is not cheap but the lunch menu is good food and excellent value. The welcome and the service were above average for this class of restaurant. Only downside is access for the less able--stairs or crossing soft sand. Very much enjoyed our visit

Once you have visited and eaten, where can you go from here .? Excellent food - good service from all the staff and the owner is very caring and always helpful with the the menu and even given me a sun hat when the sun was cooking us.Will return again this year and looking forward to the fish dishes.

Average where average means good - Le Gulf Stream was nearly very good, A choice of inside or outside, cozy and smart. A smoked salmon starter was excellent - served with dill and finely chopped mango and cherry tomatoes - very refreshing. Linguine with vongole was served with pesto! That didn't work. Linguine with bottarga was as it should have been though served with slivers of carrot (interesting...). On both occasions, though, the pasta was a little over-cooked. Nice coffee. Friendly and efficient service. I'd definitely return.

This restaurant was beautiful. It has a nice indoor dining room and a comfortable outside patio right on the beach. The food was perfect, along with a delicious wine selection. I read many negative reviews and am surprised. We had a very enjoyable dinner.
