El Chivi Uruguayan Steak Sandwiches

Went there for lunch today , had the americano and it was Devine !! Succulent and tender and juicy , all over my mouth and hands yummm . Definitely will be going back soon . Can’t wait .

El Chivi has nailed all aspects of a mouth watering steak sandwich, with fresh ingredients, real meat, none of that processed ****, very generous size and **** well priced for such juicy goodness...all served by awesome funky staff. Absolutely sensational, nowhere else in Melbourne will you find a restaurant selling authentic Uruguayan Steak Sandwiches and they are better than the ones in Uruguay. Will be back again and again until I am a 'walking Chivito '

I normally go to Grill'd for my steak sanga fix, but ever since they shrunk it, it was time for me to move on. So I gave this place a go, oh man was my choice excellent! I ordered the El Suarez, was meant to be spicy but it was mild so don't be scared for those who can't handle the heat. The steak was so tender, every bite was without worry of ripping the whole steak out. I find this being a problem with allot of cafe these days who don't tenderize it properly. The whole thing just worked, from the pickles offsetting the jalapenos, to the egg and bacon making it the lot! I want another one just writing this, will be back.
