Restaurant bewertenI love Middle East food mainly Persian, Egyptian and Arabic, which I eat a lot in London. But in Hong Kong it's close unless you know where to look for it. Recently Casablanca discovered so went there and was not disappointed. Before I even about the food, the staff there is sooooooooooooo friendly and welcoming. There for late lunch and they still had the a la carte menu and they told us not to hurry to order or food because they do not close in the afternoons. I was relaxed and impressed by the surroundings when it was spacious, they even had large square tables, so large groups or families can sit around them. I'm glad I visited before they start their buffet in April because I was there for some special dishes. On their menu there is something for everyone because they have pizzas, Moroccan dishes and Middle East Dishes. Started with MACARONI BECHAMEL, which does not sound Arabic, but it is. It is similar to Lasagna with a layer of Bolognese in the middle, but replaced by Makkaroni, but on that day they had not macaroni, so it was spaghetti. Anyway, still delicious because it was creamy and not too heavy. For chicken it was difficult to panne between grilled wings and the chicken, the Egyptian. I love roasted chicken mainly Middle Eastern like OH FOOD at North Point, which packed. The Chicken Panne was thin fried Chicken Breasts in cutlet coating. (I discovered some delicious Nandos Peri Peri sauce in the refrigerator that would go well with it or tomato ketchup is also good). For the net, it was also difficult because Middle Eastern Rice dishes are damn delicious, so had problems on the Mandy Chicken or the Chicken Kabsa to decide! The Kabsa chicken ordered. The rice was moist, soft and fluffy in a rich sauce loaded with herbs. There was a chicken soup on the side. The chicken was buried in the rice. To accompany the rest of the main, we had the juices (Bef-Fleischball) Tanggine, which came in a thick Tangy sauce, which tasted like ratatouille with strong notes of paprika. It came with bread that was perfect to soak the sauce. You can also choose rice, but I already had a rice dish that went fantastic with the rest of meatballs. Definitely to revise how I overheard over the buffet would contain a mixture of everything from the menu.
I'm in hongkong and tried tonight. the food was from the hook and beyond my expectations. the hospitality was even beyond. very cheap and I had chicken biryani and lamb chops, the best I ever had. when I visit hong kong again, I will definitely visit again.
Beautiful and clean place with reasonable price. all smile. good management. no need to mention about eating, they are really very nice. When they eat there, they will always go there.
Very special Mediterranean food and drinks. I have really enjoyed the sleek, it has perfectly cooked with sauce and texture! the brot for curry sauce was huge in size. the environment was not great, but with special decorations and design. for the service, it depends on the person who serves them. the chef and most staff were kind and friendly, except the guy who wore glasses whose opportunity was not so friendly
