Restaurant bewertenThe buffet area is very clean, and immediately spot the dessert area! I appreciate that the chef made the desserts very tiny, so that I could try more different dishes! Hong Kong people 's beloved Wooden Tofu Dessert is another highlight. VEGAN desserts really surprised me. I love the New York cheesecake and the strawberry tart the most! In addition to desserts, there are other dishes in the buffet area, including cold dishes, hot dishes, fried, soups, etc. But here I want to introduce you to Special Meal During Epidemic Prevention Period . In the 12 special meals, everything feels delicious, and some meals also use Omnipork , Beyond Meat and Unlimeat . For example, I ordered the Fried Ho Fan with beef, using the unlimeat, and even my meat friend was surprised, it just tastes so similar! And this is a classic Kong style dish!
I was over several times and I didn't have many expectations of vegetarian buffet, I thought it was one of the cheap vegan restaurants. But I tried for lunch, it's much better! All right! And the male manager is kind. Definitely one of my favorites now!
The food was decent considering the price, and items were clearly labeled to indicate if they contained milk or egg. However, the stir-fried noodles unexpectedly contained egg and were not labeled as such.
Ahimsa offers a all-you-can-eat buffet with over 20 delicious Chinese-style vegetarian dishes at a very affordable price (85-95 HKD/person). The restaurant has a wide selection of both cold and hot dishes that span the spectrum of colors. One can easily enjoy up to 50 different plant-based foods in one sitting. Despite the low cost, the quality and preparation of the food is excellent, and the management ensures cleanliness and hygiene. The staff are efficient and diligently refill dishes. In addition to standard water, they also offer lemon water and a local herbal fruit water. However, they do serve eggshell and dessert cake containing milk and egg, which may appeal to local customers. Overall, Ahimsa is the best and likely the healthiest vegetarian restaurant in the city, located in the same building as Ma... And The Seeds Of Life, a top vegan restaurant in Hong Kong.
I had a fantastic lunch at this restaurant. The variety of dishes was impressive, with options ranging from hot soups to chilled dishes, salads, hot dishes, rice and noodle dishes, desserts, and even a fried food corner with veggie tempura. All you can eat for just HKD98 is a great deal! Non-vegan items are clearly labeled, with only a few dishes containing eggs. I sampled almost everything and found it all to be delicious and fresh. Take-out containers are available for those who want to pack their lunch to go, a popular option for office workers. Just a couple things to keep in mind: not all dishes have labels, so it helps to be familiar with Cantonese/Chinese food, and there is a HKD300 minimum for credit card use. Despite this, the staff were accommodating when I showed up with only cards.
