Umi - Koebenhavn

Visited Umi in Vanløse with the family. Ad libitum for all. Starters were ok with prawns and eddermame beans as the highlights. Beef and lamb meat could well use something spice as they did not taste of very much. Sushi consisted of fresh ingredients and tasted really well. The only mark is that the pieces were slightly to the big side. Friendly and responsive staff. However, there was about 30 minutes from we ordered the second time to we got our food (4 pcs sushi and individual starters) and it was even at a time when the restaurant was about half. It was the biggest minus during the visit. DKK 295 per person, so it is for the animal side. Therefore I don’t think it’s skewed to expect a slightly higher level for starters and service (specially when the restaurant is not filled). All in all a nice food experience.

Ok Ok Ad libitum sushi. Not the best. Great and fast operation. Clean and fine locals, however, wc is sticky. They usually have it if you leave more than 3stk sushi, which most have. And it was very ugly by the waiter to look as apparently and scan the table, looking for if it was something left, as if we were some out. The table was not once messed. We had left two. Very clearly on the plate in the middle. The service was good from the others who were working on the day.

Very good sushi. A bit more expensive than elsewhere, but with the quality it does not track. The only thing I can point is the sharp lighting it had to be dimmed a bit more: Thank you for good food and service.

First time her, definitely not the last. Had the weekend day all you can eat for 188kr, and you get a lot of great food for that, so cheep, and realy tasty so can highly recommend it , and ordering is so easy,, you get a tablet and just order from that, services was quick and staff was excellent..

Fantastisk lækker sushi og service!!! Jeg har været der regelmæssigt siden de åbnede for næsten 5 år siden, og jeg kan kun sige, at det er det bedste sushisted i København! Rammerne er utroligt hyggelige og familievenlige, og man bliver altid mødt af god service! Jeg kan ABSOLUT anbefale UMI i Vanløse og Valby.
