Super Mario’s Pizza - Knoxville

When I went to pick up my order everyone was really friendly. The calzone I had is easily the best I've had in a long time. I'm originally from NJ/NYC area and good pizza is in my blood so I don't say that lightly. Until now I hadn't found pizza that could compare in the whole area. Good thing I don't live close enough to order often because I'd get insanely fat.

This was recommended by the front desk of Tru by Hilton and told 'be sure to get pizza from there while in town ' So, I had an opportunity, on a Saturday afternoon to go back to the hotel and order a pizza to get me through the day. I order a large 'The Big Pepperoni '. It was delicious. The perfect ratio of high quality Mozzarella, good crust, nice bake. The pizza sauce was really good too, in an unexpected way where I said 'I 'm not sure I 've ever tasted a pizza sauce like but, its really good. Unique. Really unique and good. ' I was feeding three adults and one pizza from some places would be plenty or too much, but I 'd recommend the reverse here. One large is 2 adults, tops. Order accordingly. Amazing local shop get your pizza on!

I’ve thrown tens of thousands of pies in my life, and trust me when I say that Super Mario’s is the best pizza in Knoxville. Let’s start with my immediate order a sausage, mushroom, and onion pizza. The Italian sausage is crumbled and spiced right, the onions retained their snap, and the mushrooms are right where you want ‘em. The crust, sauce, and cheese create a story of care and expertise it’s perfect. Family run, hole in the wall joint where the owner cares about every order that leaves their doors. That’s what you want, and that’s what Super Mario’s is.

The entire experience was Super! Very friendly staff took my order over the phone. Service was quick and the pizza was delicious! Will definitely be back!

I just placed my 1st order ever and I am highly impressed!!! The pizza is hot, fresh and very favorable. The owner himself delivered it . I will continue to support this family owned restaurant. Very polite, very professional. Merry Christmas.
