Restaurant bewertenI always get the naked chiken burrito and never with dressing - it's that delicious in it's own! YUM! Cute atmosphere. Busy with business professionals daily. Good friendly service too.
We were pressed for time and needed a quick bite. If you are in a hurry, this is not the right place as we were in a big line up. If you are a healthy eater, this is the right place for you. Lots of fresh food, portions were small compared to the portions in Vancouver. I love guacamole however it was just ok and very little portion. Lots of fresh vegetable to choose from as well as meat, and dressings. Something for everyone.
You can get a burrito, quesadilla, or a taco. You can make it a combo with nachos or with a soda. The meats include pork, two types of beef, chicken, chorizo, and shrimp. There is a veg option. There are several fresh toppings including corn, cilantro and black beans.I do not find anything hot or spicy about the alleged hot sauces and salsas. It's called Holy Guacamole, but there guac is just OK. Nothing to write home about.I had never had chorizo in a burrito before, so I opted for that one. It was good, but was lacking the spice that I expect from Mexican. Tex-Mex street food. Even the "spicy" chorizo was not spicy. It was not rubbery though, which I appreciated. It was a bit cheaper than Burrito Boys, Chipotle. Much better than Chipotle, not as good as Burrito Boys, but fresh and enjoyable. The service is really fast food. I felt a bit stressed to take my time, so I ordered quickly. It gets busy at lunch, but i guess when I went, it was not the epic lines that I thought it would be.The meal is filling, so you get your money's worth.I would go back. It is one of the only restaurants still standing on Duke Street amidst absurd amount of construction on just about every street in downtown Kitchener.
I don't understand all the hype - I didn't really care for it. The food is decent and fresh, but I didn't think it was anything special. I wouldn't go out of my way to eat there. I had the beef quesadilla - I guess I just expected more from all the reviews and was disappointed.
I love this place, I work right downtown and whenever people ask where they should go, I say here.I absolutely love it. I always get the naked burrito, and I had it already this week, and twice last week and it is amazing. The thing that I enjoy about it is that it is just like one giant salad. I find that between the guacamole and the chipotle dressing it is just like an amazing salad dressing (but better then salad dressing). Everyone who works there is always nice and friendly. I love the food, atmosphere and just generally everything.
