Old Hickory Steakhouse-gaylord Palms Resort

The drinks and side items were way too expensive. The side portions were very small. It felt like the restaurant was trying to nickel and dime customers, especially when you're already paying $75 for a steak. I won't be returning.

We did not enjoy the lobster bisque and had to return the Mac n cheese with lobster because it was cold, hard, and overcooked. However, the shrimp and steak were fantastic. So, out of four meals, only two were good. Not sure if that rates as great.

The service at this restaurant was fantastic, very attentive. The food was delicious and the wine selection was great.

We were celebrating a sweet 16 birthday for a young lady who had recently lost her father. The staff was very accommodating and attentive to her. She had an amazing time and felt very special. They even gave us a more private area to celebrate. We are very grateful. Of course the food was amazing!!

Very disappointed this time. Waited a year for this place to re open and finally went. Called ahead of time to verify soufflé was on desert menu and they told us yes. It’s one of the reasons I come here. Came for my birthday, to see that they in fact do not have it on menu yet. Got the worst server who ignored us the entire time, and had to wait 45 min and ask another server for dessert and check. She walked by us every time and didn’t make eye contact while we sat there with empty plates. My mom told her it was my birthday and she didn’t do anything, not even a “happy birthday”. Last time we came for birthdays, we had a birthday menu and they sang to us. 200$ for a very bad experience.
