Restaurant bewertenHad the Mala spicy beef rib dry mix noodles came with a big piece of meat and lots of noodles spicy level 1 still had great flavor! I loved it and will be back for more!
Good atmosphere, good service, good food. I'm not a big fan of mala flavor but if you like mala flavor which is sichuan peppercorns and numbing seasoning with slightly sweet flavor then you will like this. For appetizer I ordered fried crispy Tofu with chili oil and it was good. For the biang noodles ? we ordered mala spicy beef dry mix and mala spicy chicken dry mix.
Noodles not that chewy, sheng jian bao was very bad. Noodle soup not bad. Dumplings good.
Good experience overall, decent price, good flavor, nice atmosphere. We got the fried tofu as an appetizer, solid crunchy and had a lil bit of spicy kick. The inside was a little bland, but as to be expected with tofu. I ordered the biang biang noodles with the beef rib dry rub, the meat was surprisingly tender and it was not at all just for show. My boyfriend got the standard one which had pretty much the same flavor. Beefy, spicy, umami, great flavors and texture 8/10. All the noodles gets a little filling though.
Food is decent. Noodles are where it’s at, dumplings are average. But my biggest annoyance about my first time here was the female cook or manager in the kitchen. She kept on giving me a dirty look from the kitchen from the minute I sat down to enjoy my meal. I realized it continued on during my meal and maybe because it was a Saturday night and me and my friends had stayed too long while there was a line of customers waiting to be seated. If this was the case, it’s very easy to have yourself or one of the waiters or waitresses come and politely ask us to leave since there’s a wait list but not even once did an employee come ask us and I just kept on getting dirty looks from this woman. Don’t plan on coming back. If the food was damn amazing, I would but like I said, it’s just average.
