Savannah Joe's Barbecue - Kilmarnock

We both enjoyed the daily special, which included generous portions of chicken and pork BBQ and two sides. The BBQ was sufficiently smokey and tasty. Joe's offers several sauces to satisfy personal taste. Between us we tried the fried Ocra, Pommes, Greens and Cold Slaves and all were very good. The meal also included Hush puppies and I wanted more they were so good!

Ordered execution on line. That was simple and straight. We enjoyed everything we chopped bbq, smoked wings, okra, collar, Mac and cheese. The only product that was missing was the cream of the crab soup. It was okay, but could be improved. The staff was friendly. Order was carefully packed. Order was exact. We'll be back.

Great atmosphere and even better bbq! They close at 8 and we didn't make it here until 7:35 on the commemorative day, but Darwin behind the counter was more than happy to help us! We will definitely return.
