Restaurant bewertenOther than needing to update the flooring. Everything else is great. The service and food is terrific. We love to go right after the lunch crowd is gone. They never let us down on having plenty of options to choose from.
Great reception at the door when you come in and pay. Tables are kept clean in appearance but I saw an employee wipe down a table with a used towel and no sanitation solution. The food is replenished quickly on the buffet, but they often over fill the pans. Some food items look old at the beginning of brunch. The waitress was excellent. She kept our glasses full and used plates bowls and utensils policed up. Great place to relax and eat with family and friends. The buffet has a huge variety of food. They also have a cook making eggs on request. The good outweighs the bad.
The food was pretty good and fresh. We went in the morning. We were able to enjoy breakfast and some of the other menu items. Our waitress wasn't very attentive but she was kind and polite. There is an option to have fresh cooked eggs and omelets for breakfast. The pancakes were also made fresh.
Took the grandblessing for a bite. Friendly cashier. I loved the patriotism board in the entry. It was extremely hot in the line, other customers and the staff were commenting on how uncomfortable it was. There wasn't much variety. Only a few meat items for tacos, fried shrimp, some sausage, and salad meats. Not sure why it was so disheveled on the salad bar and buffet. There wasn't a lot of people when we were in there, but maybe there had been. The waitress was kind and friendly, but we were trying to eat. She kept touching people at the tables and touching us... normally I'd think it's just Texas friendly... but we were using gloves and masks? So, maybe this is another reason we cut our meal to just a few minutes and left. We paid for 1 Senior Veteran, 1 adult and 1 child. Overall, we love Golden Coral. Just wasn't the best visit this time. Thank you very much for your service too.
Not great. It's been along time since my wife and I were there. It was a Monday so maybe that's why.. The crew looked tried, not really wanting to be there, and it showed. The steak was un-seasoned. The mashed potatoes were so running, if you put gravy on it, you'd have soup. Not to mention the heat. It was so hot, we couldn't wait to get done and go.. People told us to go to the 1 in Temple. That they are a lot better. Maybe next time. The place was clean, that's about it.
