The Pantry - Kilkee

Today, I visited this restaurant after discovering their Facebook page. Despite hearing great reviews about their food, my dining experience was disappointing. I ordered pancakes for my daughter and a ham and cheese sandwich. The woman at the deli counter was a bit impolite, and I found the quality of the food to be below average. The sandwich, priced at 7.95, did not come with any sides, not even a small portion of chips or salad. The bread was tough and hard to bite into once toasted. I ended up only eating the inner part of the sandwich, which I felt was overpriced. Overall, I was let down by the service, although the man at the cash register was friendly. I do not plan on returning to this restaurant in the future.

Used be far better than it is now, I’m glad the carrot cake hasn’t elapsed in quality but there’s not much else would draw me in here. Still go here regularly on my visits but the place looks and feels incredibly different this year than what most people know the pantry for

Cracking open prawn sandwich on fresh soda bread with pickled cucumber on the side. Prawns were perfect and soda bread best I've had in a while. Followed by the best carrot cake I've eaten in years, genuinely. Highly recommended.

Tom did the catering for my Mum's 80th and it was fabulous. Excellent quality and very nicely presented

I visited the restaurant on Monday and had a fantastic experience. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was delightful. Karis provided us with excellent service, greeting us with a friendly smile. She was attentive during our meal and remained gracious, even when we mistakenly called her Melissa.
