Was lovely food so much of it for a fair price. Great staff, very friendly.

The food was nice, the service is excellent añd the cocktail was the heaven.

Beautiful meal. we tried to get a table on the weekend and just before we went on Sunday, we decided to call on a spectacle. we were lucky that a table was just available and we were accommodated. we ordered sampi for and glasses wein. the personal was great and attentive. I must say the new decor is super and really fits the restaurant. we loved our visit and will be back.

Food was OK but menu very limited had soup euro humm fresh cod euros bit much as it was not that good .. packing people up on top of each other while there were empty tables don't understand. staff very friendly and helpful

Popped in on a Saturday lunchtime without a booking. Staff were accomodating and friendly and the place quickly filled up after we arrived. Now much more a restaurant than a bar (I believe the smaller side bar is now a cocktail bar), the space has something of a grand European café feel about it (albeit on a much smaller scale with marble-style tables and plush velvet chairs. A small piano adorned with flowers provides a good focus point. The lunchtime menu was limited, ensuring freshness and quality of ingredients. We shared a small seafood starter and both had cod chips main. The quality was good and the dishes well presented. The staff were attentive throughout. I think this is a bold step for a traditional drinking establishment and one that I really hope works for them. The level of professionalism John and his team bring suggests that it will.
