Restaurant bewertenGreat Kalua pork and cabbage, which is what I wanted coming to the islands. Fast with Door dash and still hot when it arrived to my hotel.
This is closer to 3.5 than a 4. Good value and price but falls short in terms of quality. We ordered a mixed plate combo with fried shrimp, fried Mahi Mahi and BBQ chicken. For $15, you get a massive amount of food that could feasibly feed two people. That is to say 5 6 fried shrimps, two pieces of Mahi Mahi and 2 3 chicken thighs, 2 mounds of rice, mac salad and coleslaw. Rice was a bit mushy and the coleslaw was coarsely chopped without any dressing. Mahi Mahi was a bit fishy tasting. As fast food, it hits its mark but lacks the attention to detail seen with plate lunches offered by food trucks.
The staff that worked here on the early 11:00 a.m. shift denied me service based on my medical condition. I had called in a takeout order, and when I got there, he said you need to wear masks, and I said I can 't wear a mask based on my medical condition he said it doesn 't matter so I agreed and said can you take my order out here, I 'll just wait outside and we both agreed that I would continue the transaction from outside... when he finally came outside, I informed him very kindly what I ordered and I stated to him the Hawaii Constitution and the federal law that states that I cannot be discriminated against based on my medical condition, and when I did that he got angry and yelled you are not welcome here! Get out GET OUT!!! over and over yelling in my face, getting within 6 feet from me invading my personal space. I have it all documented on video. I will be filing a class action lawsuit for discriminating against me while I agreed to be outside of this facility and simply asserting my civil and constitutional rights. He never gave me the name of the manager of this place, as I called a second time and a female answered saying we don 't have to give you the managers name!
