So a big thanks to all the reviewers recommending Parilla's pork ribs, for combined with my serious hankering for ribs at the time was how I randomly discovered this hidden little gem!! Food did not disappoint, the ribs and garlic clams were and in addition to being great value, we received a warm welcome and friendly service throughout will definitely return!
Booked for a 7:30pm for 2 people but arrived at 7:10 and successfully ordered 2 dishes w/ 2 rice at 7:15 and waited. Other customers arrived after us, seated and quickly got their food and at the same time other customers were doing take-aways, got their food and left. We realized that these people ordered prior to coming in. Anyway 45 minutes had passed (finally got the courage to ask because we understand there is only 1 chef) at exactly 8pm I asked about the status of our order. The young girl said your order will be served next so I said okay and turned around. When I turned around our food was put on the table but I noticed the owner seems angry. She spilt our food but didn 't apologize yet we never said a word. After serving our food (without realizing we 're missing 1 rice) she had the audacity to say weren 't they a 7:30 appointment?! right in front of us. Still we never said a word. We did not want to disrespect anybody.The food here is great in fact I have eaten here a couple of times, spread the word and even brought my friends and family here. I was surprised we were treated like that. Very disappointed. Maybe because it has always been the young girl who does everything that 's why the service has been good.After waiting for 45mins an apology would be appreciated especially from the owner.I have worked in a restaurant before, dine-in customers should be your priority but hey you do you but definitely shouldn 't be the customers fault for coming in early.
