Mcnally's Burger Stand - Kernville

We camped north of Kernville along the Kern River and took a day trip to the Trail of 100 Giants in the Sequoia National Forest. Our whitewater rafting guide at Kern River Outfitters recommended this place to us, and we were hoping to find some good food. We were pleasantly surprised to see the Impossible Burger on the menu, and even more surprised that they offered it in a vegan option. The picnic tables in the shaded area were perfect for enjoying our fabulous lunch. We left feeling satisfied and ready to continue our adventures!

10/10. Everything from the steak to the pickles to the fresh baked bread to the incredibly good service all incredible. They were so friendly, and helpful, and the food blew us all away. Plus, the location can't be beat.

This restaurant offers an amazing food experience and is a hidden gem with exceptional hospitality. The beef cuts and black bean soup are outstanding. It is a family-friendly restaurant with a welcoming atmosphere.

The burger and fries were satisfactory, and the strawberry shake was delicious. The roadside shack is located in a picturesque area. If you find yourself in the area, it's definitely worth a visit. Food rating: 4 out of 5.
