Fishermans Cove Seafood - Kenner

Had the gumbo. Delicious! But where's the meat, a couple of popcorn shrimp and shells. The charbroiled oysters were superb. Cheesecake with raspberry syrup drizzle was to die for. The bread was tender and fluffy. I would give a 5 star except for lack of meat. I would definitely go back.

This photo does not do the size of the crabs justice. My husband and I purchased these yesterday on our way home to West Monroe, La. They were so delicious, spiced just right and they were full of meat. We will be back next year when we are passing through to get more. I grew up on Bayou Des Allemands and my dad was a crab fisherman. Crabs are my fav. seafood. It brought back great memories of me and my dad spending time working together catching crabs. Thanks again....

I went in to place a future order for boiled crawfish and was told it's on a first come first serve bases I went on to ask if they usually have over 20-30 pounds cooked at anytime they replied yes, I said that's great I'll be back.When I get back the next day I wait in line to get the 30 lbs of boiled crawfish and was told they would have to check another customer came in and ordered crawfish boiled and was told their would be a wait but I was told their wouldn't be any crawfish boiled for the day. My 1st and last time ever coming here and I will spread my news.
