Kohala Burger Taco - Kawaihae

Best meal on the big island by far! the owner came out to see how we liked the bass tacos they were incredible! we come back.

Holy cow! amazing! the best fish we ever had. creative, loving children's menu. incredibly family friendly place. friendly friendly staff. great view of the ozean while eating. ananas soft eating is also delicious. great. we will definitely come back!

A small place, with the owner there asking if everything was perfect. Also has a little store of comic books and other memorabilia. The food was good and the service fast and friendly. Not too far from the Hilton or Westin, worth a visit

Suuuper tasty burgers. Worth the price and although the portions arent mainland/Midwestern sized-the taste cant be beat! We had the Maui rootbeer floats with our amazing burgers and perfect fries....can not complain. The staff is super helpful and very informative. Seating is available inside with some wait time. Be warned...Surf Burger next door is where your food will be delivered from but you must order in person inside of Kohala Burger and Taco.

Wife and I had beef tacos with rice and beans there. It was amazing. Soooo, tasteful! Sorry, no photos of food, I was hungry and the food was so good that it didn't take long on my plate. Prices are in place, (compared to the high prices resort food) and the lady (can owners) of our order is a treasure. Even a little with us. This place really brought me back to my childhood with the comics and old school candy before business. Will be on my stops when I'm back on the big island. Thanks again for the great food!!
