Hatsuneya Garden - Kawagoe

A little rest and quiet in Kawagoe. Modern, upscale café with delicious desserts. A bit expensive, but it's worth it. One of only one handful places in Kawagoe with a terrace. Modern café in a 160-year-old garden. In the same complex there is a restaurant and a wedding hall banquet hall. The gardens are from the back of the wedding hall and if there is no wedding, you can strip around. Every time I was, there was a wedding! It seems a popular place for them. In the café there is a terrace outside that smokes. Inside is non-smoking. Coffee's good.

I had coffee and sakura season cake. The space and the music there were good. The Café is recommended.

Wifi free(need to register). Credit cards not aveillable. If you'd like to try western sweets with Japanese taste, this cafe is good. They have seasonable menu like cheese cakes and others with green tea or Sakura taste. Dogs aveillable at the terrace. There's small shrine in front of the gate. Price is not so expensive and service is not bad. Be careful, they only accept cash. This is really inconvenience though.

Nice place for tea break. Hojicha latte, Fresh Mont Blanc, Matcha Tiramisu. Slightly sweet.

Nice place with a long history. Stop for coffee and a cake, but ended with a personal tour through this building. Mesmerizing interior with a beautiful garden. Great thanks to Aikawa San, who was friendly enough to show us around and explains history of this restaurant in great details. Very appreciated.
