Restaurant bewertenSmooth and wonderful dining experience. Both the service and the food. We've been to Tantan often before but my friend recommended me to try Mala and it was well worth it. The waiter, Steven, was very patient and nice, he explained about Sichuan food and then recommended some dishes. They were all really good! The Spicy Chicken was the best, very crispy and with a strong aroma. The boiled fish made me eat a lot of rice and the sauce was very flavorful. Highly recommended for anyone interested in spicy Chinese food!
Good spicy Szechuan Chinese, quick service, reasonable food pricing.
I went here last night with my boyfriend as a date night. We wanted to try this place as it had really good reviews and we wanted to try something new. This place is amazing! The atmosphere and ambiance in the room feels like you are going in the past in China. From the hanging lanterns to the wood structures is was simply gorgeous. We were sat quickly and by the time we sat down we had our drinks ordered. When we looked at the menu there were so many great options to choose from. Dan Dan noodles, crispy wings, vegan options, etc. I ordered the spicy crispy beef and my boyfriend had the pork. Both dishes were so flavorful and it came with a huge complimentary bowl of rice! If you like spice get the spicy crispy beef but be careful!I highly recommend this place to everyone and we will be coming back!
If you’re craving authentic sichuan food, this is the place to go. Their spices hit the spot and satisfy very well. Popular restaurant as it seems the owner is doing well with several others across Houston. This can be reflected as the food quality is phenomenal.Check this place out don’t forget to order the pan fried beef (crispy Mala beef)Parking: This is in a popular area aka sugar lane Chinatown so the plaza contains other popular shops. May have to park a bit further and walk here.
Very authentic Sichuan food! Flavor and spice are on point, loved the pork intestines and the ribs. Just wish there’re more meat in the dishes. (It was mostly bones in the ribs.
