Restaurant bewertenWe didn't feel welcomed there. Nor did the food tasted good. I love Thai food and Phuket has so many tasty places to enjoy it. This is not the one of them. I ordered shrimp padthai and I didn't even finish it. It was not even close to how it should taste like. My friend ordered a different dish and she couldn't finish it because it was overloaded with sodium. The coast of these 2 meals was equal to the Marriott restaurants, which ridiculous for a simple thai shack food. What a faste of time and money. The view is the only thing that saves this so-called restaurant.
Don’t let the decor put you off from this place! The food is authentic and delicious! We ordered Tom Yum and black pepper chicken. Both where incredibly flavourful and good sized portions. The nice lady looked after us well and made sure we where happy with the meals. Plastic chairs aside you have an incredible view of Merlin beach and the jungle beyond. Great spot to watch the sunset. The prices where reasonable, 750 Baht $30 AUD) for two mains, large beer and desert. We would happily return for another meal!
A great view with some average to nice dishes. I enjoyed the green curry very much.
Great place for lunch if you’re staying at the Marriott nearby. Food is tasty and fresh, the views are nice, and the beers are cold. Attentive waitstaff.
Hidden surprise. Home cooked meals with perfect authentic style and taste. Climb up the abandoned-looking concrete stairs on the side of the cliff to get to this rustic and well positioned lookout spot with toilet facilities. Overlooking Merlin beach which is a white sand bay between two mountains. Tong is the manager and speaks English after spending 17yrs in Switzerland. The food was a highlight of our week of tasting local dishes. We had Satay chicken, fish, mango sticky rice, spring rolls.. and a couple of cold beers of course. Next door is massage and also elephant feeding.
