Restaurant bewertenWhat can I say? This is what a true pub should be! Every aspect is spot on. The food is absolutely exceptional, with most of it made on-site. We moved to this area just over a year ago, and people have been recommending this place ever since. I wish we had come here months ago. A few Sundays ago, we had some relatives visit and we booked a table (which I highly recommend). They were truly impressed by the quality of the food! A huge thank you to Karen and Angie for creating such a fantastic place.
Karen and her team went above and beyond to accommodate our group when we arrived close to the end of lunch service yesterday. We felt very welcome, the food was delicious, and the service was exceptional. We apologize to the chef for the short notice, but we promise to plan ahead next time — and there will definitely be a next time!
I had a fantastic Sunday roast accompanied by salted caramel ice cream for dessert. The restaurant is dog-friendly, which is a big plus. I highly recommend it for its friendly and welcoming staff!
Quick lunch here while meeting a local client, his recommendation. Had the toad in the hole which was very nice. Comfortable surroundings and pleasant staff recommended
The quintessential village pub. Excellent choice of Sunday roasts (pork belly with superb crackling), Harveys and Long Man real ales and traditional puddings (apple crumble or sticky toffee). Deservedly popular, worth seeking out.
