Bàn Jiǔ Shí Chá Wū - Kao-hsiung

A rather filling and balanced meal. If you are yearning for old school .. or traditional fish dishes.. then this is for you. So tender or.. So crispy. Depending on what you pick. Either way . it was delicious.

Tea selection was decent, sweets were fine. Wished we could’ve tried the hot food as well but too bad nobody came to serve us... did we do something to upset them?

Very recommended. You can have a good rest here with high quality tea. I drank cold tea and it was nice for me, but hot tea is also recommended. Taiwanese specialty tea, Chinese tea, green tea and so on. There are different types of tea to try to enjoy it. If I go back to Kaohsiung, I would visit this teahouse again.

Family-friendly with larger tables in the next room, although no baby chairs, but they have children's utensils. Excellent food that came fast and very decent portions. A very surprising menu that had a number of favorites that would all like in a group. This teahouse was recommended to us by our Hotel HOK House, and what a jewel of a recommendation it was.

Meal come in a set with soup, salad, mushrooms, vegetables, lotus, main course, tea, and dessert. Pan fried milkfish and steamed milk fish with clams set we're both $350. A bit on the pricey end but the service is good, food is fresh, restaurant environment is peaceful and clean. You can choose purple rice over white rice at no extra cost. Will be back!
