Ça Va - Kansas City

Croissants were absolutely delicious (edit: they don't even make them). Food and drinks in general were good, server was nice. I can see why other reviews mentioned that this place dirty, spider weaving and dust everywhere. They were out of several things when we went on Sunday brunch at 1:00. Note that a 20% congratulation contained in the tab is usually not a problem unless I was not aware that this was done by the server and I wish I had. I have not paid enough attention when I pay and politics can be found very tiny at the bottom of their virtual menu. We had a big party and I'm typing anyway so they probably get a total of 45% tips from me. I really wish the server had pointed out that the directive when you handed over the review to me. Between politics written in very tiny pressure on a non-physical menu next to the server, not mentioning it right (especially because we were a bigger party) it really leaves a bad taste in my mouth. It was my first time and it's not likely I'm back.

Love so many things about this place: the atmosphere, cozy outdoor patio, the food is great, wine selection and cocktails are amazing. Give it a try!

Charging an extra 20% so your servers can have a liveable earning ???? How about you PAY them better? Nope, wont go in to a socialists shop. Good luck, hope it goes belly up. Reading reviews doesn 't sound like I am missing much.

Maybe though COVID shutdowns they should have considered cleaning the place. Cobwebs everywhere. Dust everywhere. We quit going. Pretty pathetic for the prices they want to charge.

I had a birthday. It was a good experience, but it felt limited with the menu and wine options. Service was also good. Most nicer restaurants give you a free drink or dessert and I was offered just a good birthday. I'm glad I checked it, but probably not a place I visit again. We are some food and the portions were on the smaller side, but nothing impressive. Great place for unique cocktails. Over there, because the parking lot is limited in the area.
