Restaurant bewertenMost locals come to buy their fish from the store. The bistro isn't really a bistro. It's a cafeteria style restaurant. You order at the counter, find a seat and then pick up when your buzzer goes off. Everything was served in disposable containers. The food was good but ambiance sorely lacking. Not a dinner place.
This is a great little restaurant that specializes in fish. My wife and I both ordered the lobster roll, but were disappointed. Now I must add that we were born and raised in Maine, so we know how a lobster roll is suppose to taste and this just didn't stand up to our expectations. In their defense, all the locals said to go there for the FISH, not one of them mentioned the lobster and now I know why. This is an order at the counter type of place and once it is ready you have to go pick it up, so I'd say this is more of a lunch place then a restaurant.
We stopped at this restaurant during the first winter storm of the year for lunch and had a delicious smoked trout and a shrimp panini. The restaurant is located in a charming seaside town and has a cool atmosphere. There is a wide variety of fresh seafood to choose from if you prefer to cook for yourself. We will definitely return if we are in the area again!
This cozy bistro operates in a cafeteria-style where you place your order and receive a beeper. The menu may be limited in options, but the cooking is honest and delicious. They offer a fantastic variety of incredibly fresh fish and seafood.
Upon arrival, customers must go to the counter to place their order. They are given a buzzer and then proceed to their table. The restaurant lacks ambiance and formal service, resembling more of a fast food establishment. However, the food is excellent, particularly the seafood served with a salad - the only option available.
