Restaurant bewertenWent to this cafe on a Wednesday around 5 P.M. Just as a note to anyone seeing this as this place is popular for their breakfast they stop serving it at 4 P.M. as well as brewing any fresh coffee. Now with that said, I went in for lunch and ordered their nachos and baja tacos. Portions are HUGE (which is actually quite a good thing) and the tacos came with a separate plate of just beans and rice. Both the servers and chef were beyond amazing! The chefs had made a fresh batch of chips for the nachos and the server brought a huge side of salsa without me asking. My drink was consistently refilled and I was well taken care of! The inside atmosphere can be quite quiet if you go in past their breakfast hours which is not their fault and can be pleasant if you like a more intimate environment. Loved it! Parking: Park for free in the front (which can get full quickly) or alternatively in the residential area on the right of it.
Great food, great service, just a bit cramped. Understandably busy though great place! ...also, it was raining.
We got the chorizo skillet, fish sandwich and quesadilla, coffee and a biscuit, all of which were quite tasteless. Service and atmosphere were perfect but the food was quite sub par especially for the prices.
Nice little restaurant. Nice atmosphere with window completely rolled up. But it is a bit overpriced.
I had the sunken city sandwich (steak), and it was nice a tender on a sourdough bread. Steak was missing a bit of seasoning, but still hit the spot. Onion rings are fresh. But would be better if they came with some type of spicy aioli. The BLT sand was lime all the rest. And the curly fries are good. Definitely recommend eating here. I'll try breakfast next time.
