Restaurant bewertenServing snacks, lunches and mains this cafe / restaurant provides food at very reasonable prices. I had grilled Barra and it was delicious. The venue also offers a pretty view of the lake.
My Aunt resides at IRT Belconnen and after we had been out to the National Museum to the David Attenborough VR experience she suggested we return to the Birrigai Cafe for lunch. What a lovely lunch we had! My son had a double Beef burger and chips, I had a Thyme Chicken burger with chips and my Aunt had Barramundi with Asian vegetables. Great sized meals, great prices and they were delicious. The Staff were all very friendly and helpful and the cafe only had a few vacant seats. I would definitely recommend this cafe as a great place to eat and spend time with your family.
We really like it here. While maybe not the most fashionable place in town, the food is great, the service is friendly and the prices are reasonable. With views of the lake and dog friendly to boot.
Birrigai is hidden away off the road, but well worth finding, and is a short side tip off the pedestrian/bike trail around Lake Ginninderra. Recently extended, it has lovely views down to the lake, and a good quality VERY well priced brunch/lunch menu. The coffee is excellent, there is an excellent range of cakes and the food is well prepared and very tasty. Service always seems to be exceptional - I have visited >10 times and it is unfailingly cheerful and polite.
We discovered this place a few months back and have been nearly once a week ever since.Located within a retirement village with a backdrop of Lake Ginninderra. We have had breakfast, Morning tea and lunch here. The staff are super friendly and the food is delivered promptly. There is both inside and outside tables. It is open to the general public
