The Jetty Seafood Shack - KALBARRI

This place was busy as and queues were huge. Was told 20mins and it took 55mins. Asked for battered fish got grilled instead and pretty pathetic too. Don't recommend at all

Was starting to think food outlets in Kalbarri knew little about good food- sourdough bread with a fairy floss texture, chicken mignon consisting of fried bacon with a slab of fried chicken breast served with a 'creamy garlic sauce' I am sure was thinned with milk (maybe they were running low?), but the Jetty Seafood Shack has restored a glimmer of hope for further culinary delights in Kalbarri. Nice fish, good chips and salad freshly prepared. Just what we were hoping for.

Picked Fish and chips for my mother's day dinner so I didn't have to cook for the night and unfortunately was not particularly impressed. I must say firstly the fish was delicious and apparently the pineapple and dim sims were great too. Unfortunately I love my deep fried bananas and I am not sure what mine was but it wasn't banana! I even got others to try it and they couldn't believe it. The chips were also under cooked so very disappointed as I had looked forward to it for some time and now uneasy about trying again. :(

The food (fish and chips + some seafoods) are fresh and delicious! The price is actually decent given the portion and quality! Definitely should try it..
