Restaurant bewerten418 visit is a good way to try out the menus of culinary students at the kwtscc school and listen to their intentions,
If you haven't yet experienced the student-run 418 restaurant within Kalamazoo Valley's culinary program, you are missing out! Students manage both the front and back of the house as part of their culinary education, planning, preparing, and serving incredible meals such as the soy and honey glazed salmon with crispy multicolored potatoes and pickled asparagus with mushrooms. The salmon was cooked perfectly, tender and flavorful. The combination of soy and honey was delicious! The deep-fried white, yellow, and purple potatoes were seasoned with lemon zest, garlic, and parsley, giving them a unique flavor that the students can elaborate on. Don't miss out on the beer and food pairings at Tuesday Taps events, where students brew their own beers and have even won national awards. A special aspect of dining at 418 is that your tips contribute to the student scholarship fund, so be generous, indulge in fine dining, and support students on their educational journey. Reservations for dinner are highly recommended.
We have visited the 418 Restaurant at KVCC several times, usually with a group of friends. They offer curated gourmet set menus featuring local ingredients that are both creative and delightful. The wine and beer selection is always intriguing. The dishes are prepared and served by students who provide a friendly and engaging dining experience. The restaurant is spacious and cozy, with plenty of windows overlooking Portage Creek. The prices are unbeatable, but reservations are required on specific dates. Highly recommended.
I was very impressed with the selection of craft beers at this restaurant, especially the ones made by students. I highly recommend trying them all!
