Outstanding experience! My husband and I ate here recently before heading over to the MPAC for a concert. We arrived about 15 minutes before they starting seating for dinner. The bar was open so we grabbed a drink and sat in the bar area until they began seating for dinner. The customer service was exceptional! Everyone we came in contact with went above and beyond to make sure we were enjoying our dinner. Food was fabulous! Fried brussell sprout salad, oysters and fish special of the day which was Sea Bass. One of the best meals and overall experiences we've ever had at a restaurant. Thank you Central!

Great food but value is not there. $40 for shrimp and rice and I think I received three shrimp… my colleagues had the scallops and said they were good.

Gem of downtown Montgomery, AL. We made reservations for a Tuesday night which was smart. I had the teres major plate and my bf had the bone in ribeye and house fries. The ribeye was perfectly prepared at medium rare as ordered and the house fries were amazing. Very flavorful. The teres major came rare over mashed potatoes with asparagus. For dessert, we had the German chocolate donuts. Yeah, donuts at a fancy restaurant. They were fantastic!!!The service was great and the rustic atmosphere was perfect. I especially liked the gas lamps.Definitely will return!!

My friend and I like to stop in for an IPA and a dirty martini with blue cheese stuffed olives, and it’s usually really good. However, last time it just wasn’t made with love, which is okay if you are getting a Rum Coke, but not a $15 drink including tip. We will be back, but might be a couple weeks. Food is always good though.
